Mary J. Blige set a record on the Home Shopping Network channel when 60,000 bottles of her new My Life fragrance sold in about six hours, according to a press release from HSN. Part of the proceeds will help young women attend college and benefit Blige’s charity, The Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now, Inc. (FFAWN).

“Fam!! We did it!!! We broke records with the My Life fragrance on HSN!!! and made history once again!!! 50K sold!!!” Blige tweeted before a final count of how many bottles sold was reported.
