NBA stars Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade taught kids basketball drills and spoke about their love of basketball to the youth at the event. There were spoken word, dance and musical performances, including a concert by Jay-Z, which he closed the show out with “Empire State of Mind” with a mystery girl singing the hook. Singer Melanie Fiona models Rocawear earrings for its fall 2010 line.

Singers Melanie Fiona and Trey Songz are the new faces of Rocawear as the clothing line launches its fall 2010 collection with an ad campaign called NEXT. The ads are already in the September 2010 issues of Vibe and XXL magazine and are scheduled to run through the end of the year. Rocawear, a brand that is described as “innovative, groundbreaking and ahead of the curve,” was co-created by rapper Jay-Z.
